Welcome to Dales Automotive, your local Subaru and XPENG specialists in Lancashire. We are a family-owned and run business established in 1993, proudly based at our Kelbrook site since 2005. Over the years, we have continued to grow while maintaining the same friendly, personal approach that our customers value. Today, we specialise in new and used vehicle sales, vehicle finance, leasing, hire, vehicle maintenance, fleet management and more, offering a complete automotive service under one roof.

Our franchise journey began in May 2015 when we launched Dales Subaru, our first official franchise. Since then, we’ve become the fastest-growing Subaru dealer in the country and were honoured to receive the Best Regional Dealer Award. Our Kelbrook showroom features all the latest Subaru models, complemented by a wide selection of approved used vehicles. In November 2025, we expanded our offering even further by becoming an official XPENG Service Centre, supporting one of the most advanced electric vehicle brands in the world. From January 2026, we will proudly operate as a full XPENG dealer, specialising in new XPENG car sales and bringing cutting-edge EV technology to our customers in Lancashire.

Our used vehicle department offers an extensive range of cars and commercials, all fully valeted, HPI-cleared and ready to view or test drive. If you don’t see the right vehicle in stock, our wide industry network allows us to source the perfect match for your needs. To support our growing customer base, we expanded in 2019 and opened a second Kelbrook site dedicated to service and vehicle preparation. Our service centre is equipped with five ramps, a Class 4 MOT ramp with four-wheel laser alignment, and advanced diagnostic and servicing technology. Our technicians are main dealer trained across multiple brands, including Subaru and XPENG, and carry out everything from air-conditioning servicing and tyre fitting to repairs, clutches, timing belts, diagnostics and health checks.

Alongside our sales and service departments, our hire business, A To B Self Drive, continues to thrive. Established in 2009 with just two vans, it now operates a fleet of more than 15 vehicles, including cars, vans, 4x4s, minibuses and campervans. Due to this growth, the hire department also moved to our second Kelbrook location in 2019.
